September Morning Walks

Blue Moon
It must be something in the air
That soft silver moonlight
Always catches my eye anywhere.

These are Moon Flower, the bees were busy all over it. That moon shot has a nice crater margin on the lower left side, if you want to enlarge it, and lots of definition.I shoot lots of moons, but this is a real favorite.I like to plant lots of light colored blooms so I can enjoy them at night as well. There is a beautiful variety of this that grows out on the prairie in the Nebraska Sandhills. These are on the back of a garage of a neighbor across the alley from  me.

Sunrise out on the prairie

Lily reflecting in the sunlight

I liked this pattern and added this lovely image.

LOL  It was a bench shadow in a cemetery.

  8. The Moon Flowers remind of what we used to call Morning Glories. I guess they still call them that.
All these shots are great but I particularly love the moon shot.

  9. We miss so much by not being up early in the morning. On the farm I had to be up early . As an urban dweller I don't get up at sunrise.

  10. I have never been able to get a good moon shot, so enjoyed yours, Steve. Nice connection with the neighbor's moon flowers too. Miss Lily looks like she's already wearing her coat for cooler temps to come. Enjoy the week of lovely fall weather.

  12. I am so envious of the blue moon photo. My camera just outright refused to take such photos. You always have such a great eye. The moon flowers are wonderful. I may have to attempt to grow them next year.
